The foundation of the Research Institute for Future Studies took place on Saturday, August 3, 2024, corresponding to 28th Muharram 1446 AH, in Hala. The inaugural meeting was presided over by Shaikh Abdul Ghaffar , accompanied by Shaikh Abdul Hameed Ahmedani. The organizer of the foundational meeting was Bashir Ahmed. Need of Foundation
The general attitude toward new inventions has historically been to initially oppose and strictly prohibit their use. Later, permissions are granted in a manner akin to a dam breaking, leading to widespread damage. A better approach is to collect all relevant information about each new invention, raise awareness, and inform people about its benefits and drawbacks. By identifying its requirements, we can pave the way for students, the public, teachers, and researchers to harness its advantages.
For this purpose, there is a need for an institution that can systematically work on new inventions, raise awareness about them, and demonstrate their applications within respective fields. This will enable individuals to derive maximum benefits. Currently, the most prominent among such innovations is Artificial Intelligence (AI). We aim to provide tailored awareness about AI based on people’s needs.
In addition to AI, it is essential to educate students, scholars, teachers, and researchers about emerging terms and technologies such as Transhumanism, Quantum Computing, Singularity, and Cloning. This will enable them to take their knowledge and research to new dimensions, exploring these fields from fresh perspectives. Such an approach will ensure these advancements serve humanity rather than harm it.
For this, a platform is crucial. This platform will serve as the foundation for addressing all these needs comprehensively. This institution, God willing, will fulfill this purpose.
